How to Use Burn Oil
Share
Step 1: Cool the Burn
Gently cool the affected area using a clean, damp cloth or by letting fresh air circulate around the burn for a few minutes,10–15 minutes to reduce heat and minimize damage.
Step 2: Gently Dry the Skin
Pat the area dry with a clean, soft towel cloth. Avoid rubbing, which can irritate the skin further.
Step 3: Apply the Burn Oil
Once the skin is dry, apply a thin, even layer of Oil And Cares burn oil to the affected area. Use clean hands or a sterile applicator.
Step 4: Reapply as Needed
Reapply the oil 5–10 times daily or as needed to keep the skin moisturized and protected. Avoid covering the burn with tight bandages unless directed by a healthcare professional.
Step 5: Monitor the Healing
Keep an eye on the burn. If you notice signs of infection (such as increased redness, swelling, or pus), seek medical attention.
